Hello there!! I’m Gaurav, from Jaipur, India. I have been dabbling with lots of different web technologies since school. I started out with HTML and VBScript in 2006, and gradually made my way up through javascript, ASP, PHP and so on. I discovered WordPress in early 2009, and immediately fell in love. Though I was still doing PHP and some CodeIgniter, I kept looking into WordPress from time to time. It was in 2011 that I got my first serious WP project and when I delved into the code, I knew that this was what I was going to do, and I’ve never looked back. Since then I have built numerous themes, a few plugins and done installations for a number of clients(~200, mostly freelance), and I continue to work with small businesses, helping theme leverage the power of WordPress and other Free Software such as GNU/Linux.

From 2009 to 2014, I ran 3 failed startups and a mildly successful design agency with multiple partners. MagikPress was born as my first solo attempt into the business world, and is a result of everything that I have learnt during the past years.
